Raising more than funds

I was at a fund raiser last night that I attended alone of course. No point in point in bringing candy to a candy store. There were a couple of other black males there but only white women out of over 100 people. The different ways women try and catch my eye is always amusing. 

Ladies which type are you:

The quick eye contact from across the room and then work closer type.

The smile then pose close by while looking at whatever type.

The talk to a friend in line of sight type.

Or the start a conversation and block everyone else out type.

I know its usually a combo of more than one of these in the end but how do you start? I usually don't take any of the above seriously. Its when you take that step and reach out to touch usually my arm that I start getting serious. That almost always leads to a goodnight at some point and time.
